We started the year in the best possible way! Several citizens and organisations have been showing their solidarity with Milvoz and the ecological tragedy that befell the ancient woodland of Vale da Aveleira.
Thanks to the remarkable mobilisation of support from the 14th edition of Free Run 2026 - Solidarity Race and Walk, organised by Coimbra Trail Running, it was possible to raise €924.70 in donations for the regeneration of our Integral Bio-Reserve.
The Milvoz team deeply thanks everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative!
The students of class 9ºB at Escola Secundária da Lousã also decided to donate part of the funds raised for their end-of-year trip to Milvoz's Crowdfunding. This gesture, as generous as it is symbolic, fills us with gratitude and reinforces our conviction that the importance of ecosystem preservation continues to be passed on to future generations. The ancient woodland of Vale da Aveleira will be rebuilt also thanks to the contribution of these students. Our sincere thanks!
We also extend our very special thanks to Teacher Cristina Chau, for her involvement, dedication and awareness-raising work.
Haven't joined this initiative yet? Vale da Aveleira, an ancient woodland unique in the Centro region, needs your help more than ever. Following the fire that ravaged the Serra da Lousã, this woodland was severely affected, making it urgent to implement robust actions to ensure its regeneration and preservation for the future.
