About us

The Genesis

Milvoz was born in May 2019 with the ambition of creating a network of small nature reserves in the Coimbra region. The goal is to neutralize threats to biodiversity preservation, namely habitat loss, the spread of invasive plant species, and forest fires.

With proper environmental management of these spaces, we foster a healthy forest and contribute to the establishment and permanence of fauna and flora, which are essential gears in the wonderful ecosystems that surround us.

Our values

Deep respect for nature and the biodiversity that sustains it are the fundamental pillars of Milvoz. We advocate for native forests, ecosystem balance, and responsible practices that ensure their continuity. We believe that true sustainability can only be achieved through local knowledge sharing and transparent, ethical, and sustainable land management, always focusing on environmental and community well-being.

Our goals

Milvoz's mission is to protect, recover, and value native ecosystems, promoting biodiversity conservation and sustainable land management. We work to ensure that nature finds space to regenerate and flourish, involving the community through volunteering, socializing, and learning initiatives, and creating solutions that ensure a healthier and more balanced future for all.
