A wildfire devastated the Integral Bio-Reserve of Vale da Aveleira. We are mobilising support to fund the post-fire restoration of this 75-hectare ancient forest in the Serra da Lousã.

Protecting vulnerable pockets of native woodland, securing their preservation for the future. Thanks to the support of so many, we reached our goal of €22,000 to acquire new land at the Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve.
Environmental Fund 2023 — Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve
Funded by the Environmental Fund, this project turned intentions into concrete conservation actions at the Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve, covering over 5,000 m² of intervention, with 188 fauna and 230 vascular flora species inventoried.

Milvoz is part of the Aldeias de Portugal project, promoted by ATA — the Village Tourism Association — celebrating rural traditions and the sustainable use of natural resources deeply connected to life in nature.
