Iberian Alliance in the Fight Against Invasive Species
This weekend, Milvoz travelled to Galicia and joined the Montescola Foundation for a training session on invasive plants. We visited the Montes de Lousame and took part in control actions, observing a reality very similar to that of some regions of Portugal, with acacia and eucalyptus as the dominant species in the forest cover. We highlight the positive results of native regeneration in areas already treated by the Brigadas Deseucaliptizadoras — an excellent example that should be replicated.
