The Living Strips Have Arrived
Faced with the many flaws and problems inherent to Portugal's Integrated Rural Fire Management System (SGIFR), Milvoz decided to act and try to improve it by joining forces with other associations and citizens. We gathered a group of motivated people to counter the unfounded notion that tackling the devastating fires of Portuguese summers means clearing large biodiverse forest areas.
