At Dusk at the Morena Bio-Reserve
This month, the Morena Bio-Reserve was the setting for two interpretive visits. On the late afternoons of 15 and 24 August, Milvoz gathered 18 people to demonstrate the importance of local biodiversity refuges and how to manage them. The topic of saproxylic insects (animals that feed on dead wood) was also addressed — these organisms renew the nutrient cycle in ecosystems and contribute to their overall health. Special attention was given to the stag beetle, one of the most significant living beings in this Bio-Reserve
