Following an earlier statement, Milvoz now publishes the manifesto regarding the destruction of one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in the Central region, entitled "Coimbra Council Mortgages the First Hotspot of the Municipal Micro-Reserve Network".
In it, we reveal the reasons behind the richness of this unique place in the region, the project threatening it, the positions of the various institutions that contributed to its incomprehensible approval, and we call for nature to be given a chance — protecting what can still be saved of this hotspot identified by Milvoz in the partnership we established just a few months ago with Coimbra City Council.
Alongside this manifesto there is also a public petition, addressed to the executive of Coimbra City Council, which you can sign to give even more strength to this citizens' movement.
