We are not slowing down in the fight against invasive plants
The project "Bio-Reserve Senhora da Alegria: a project for the benefit of the territory and community", funded by the Environmental Fund, is still under way and the activities show no sign of stopping. As part of this project, in late September, we gathered a group of 7 people to combat invasive exotic species and weeds in our first Bio-Reserve. In order to enhance the native plant community of the Bio-Reserve Senhora da Alegria, it is essential to control these species that compete with and displace indigenous vegetation.
