On 30 July at 4pm, Milvoz held its electoral assembly to elect the association's governing bodies for the 2023–2026 term. A single list was presented and elected by the members present at the Centro Universitário Manuel da Nóbrega in Coimbra.
The previous president of the association, Manuel Malva, now takes on the role of vice-president, succeeded by Pedro Gomes, who was sworn in as president. Verónica Oliveira is the new treasurer and Miguel Ferreira the secretary for the next 3 years. The Board is completed by board members Myriam Kanoun-Boulé, Miguel Padilha and David Sacras, and alternate members Luís Primo and Rui Figueiras. The Fiscal Council is now composed of João Freire as president, and board members Joana Cipriano and Daniel Mendes. As for the General Assembly Board, the new president is Daniel Marques, with Soraia Almeida and Sérgio Forte taking office as secretaries.
The key priorities of the electoral programme are the development of the association's structure — through the recruitment of new members and the creation of new funding sources —, the strengthening of external communication — for example, by enhancing content on the website and social media, but also through participation in outreach events and talks —, the continued defence of the natural heritage of the Coimbra region, and the sound management of the Bio-Reserves, seeking to expand the area protected by the association.
