Another relic in Milvoz's hands
Recently classified as Vulnerable on the Red List of Vascular Flora of mainland Portugal, the small and discreet Campanula alata had escaped the attentive eyes of Milvoz members... until today. The Bio-Reserve Senhora da Alegria has revealed yet another of its treasures! Endemic to the Iberian Peninsula, the plant is identified primarily by its bell-shaped violet corolla and inhabits humid and shaded areas, under the canopy of riparian vegetation such as ash trees, alders or willows.
