2022 begins with the first primrose flowers in the Bio-Reserve
Primroses (Primula acaulis) typically begin to bloom in the depths of winter, in the first days of the year. 2022 is no exception, and the Atlantic woodland of the Bio-Reserve already hosts these characteristic flowers, which herald the gradual increase in daylight hours after the winter solstice.
