Milvoz could not have stayed out of this project, which allows us to celebrate the rural traditions of the Portuguese territory — traditions so deeply intertwined with the sustainable use of natural resources and life in nature.
Invited by the local community of Almalaguês — home to the Senhora da Alegria Bio-Reserve — we enthusiastically accepted participation in this initiative. For us, this involvement represents a success in raising community awareness about the importance of the biodiversity within the reserve.
The Aldeias de Portugal project, promoted by ATA (Associação de Turismo de Aldeia), aims to enhance the cultural and natural heritage of Portuguese villages. The pathways, stories, and ancient voices echoing through these villages are a standing invitation to those seeking close experiences with nature and learning.
Through this initiative, Milvoz opens the doors of the Bio-Reserve to visitors who want to discover the richness of the native ecosystems of the Coimbra region, learn about conservation, and experience unique moments of contact with nature.
