Who we are

We believe Central Portugal — from its mountains to its rivers, from coast to inland villages — only thrives when nature thrives with it.

Milvoz was born from the conviction that environmental defence cannot be left to specialists alone, nor to institutions alone. It must be done by communities — with science, with persistence, and with their own voice.

We work across advocacy, environmental education, citizen science, and field volunteering. We mobilise people, engage with decision-makers, and show up wherever ecosystems need someone to speak for them.

About Us
Milvoz in the field, in the nature of Central Portugal
We are entirely dependent on the natural world. It provides us with every mouthful of food we eat and every breath of air we take.
