The day
Next Saturday, 3 May, we return to the Mondego valley for another planting day. This time we will plant 200 pedunculate oaks (Quercus robur) on a plot devastated by the 2022 wildfire.
Practical details
- When: Saturday, 3 May, 9:00–13:00
- Where: Quinta da Boiça, Penacova (coordinates shared in registration confirmation)
- What to bring: clothes you can get dirty, rubber or waterproof boots, work gloves if you have them. We provide tools and plants.
- Transport: we have seats on a bus leaving Coimbra at 08:30 (Praça da República). Indicate in your registration if you need a seat.
- Lunch: after the morning's work there is a communal lunch. Voluntary contribution.
